
What is Dopamine?
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, which means it sends messages between nerve cells in the brain and other parts of the body. Several parts of the brain make it, such as the ventral tegmental area and the substantia nigra. This neurotransmitter is often called the “feel-good” neurotransmitter because it makes people feel good. It does a lot more than just make us feel good, though.Responsibilities of Dopamine
